Project Kenge Workwear
Project Kenge Workwear (KWW) is an initiative spearheaded by CSS to produce high-quality personal protective equipment (PPE) locally for mining communities, particularly benefiting Kibali Gold Mine (KGM) in Haut Uélé. By training and employing local community members in industrial tailoring, KWW aims to reduce delivery times, lower costs associated with PPE procurement, and empower community members, especially women and young girls, through skills development and economic opportunities.
